- Jadon Sancho has told friends he would consider returning to Mancity if they showed an interest, as he fears being 'left in limbo' at Borussia Dortmund. Mancity secured the right to match any future bids that came in for Sancho as part of the deal in 2017. however, they are currently looking elsewhere and have no plans to use that option.
- Napoli president, Aurelio De Laurentiis on Kalidou Koulibaly/Fabian Ruiz said “If Mancity United or PSG with €100m showed up, I would think about it and it is probable they would leave, if their will was to leave. I don't even consider an offer of €60m. " I am solid, if I wanted to win the Scudetto at any cost today I would find myself with three, four hundred million debts. I look around and see companies at 500, 600 million, less a billion. I don't owe anyone a sh*t."

Nélson Semedo had been the main option however, Achraf Hakimi's good performances at Dortmund are making Guardiola doubt what the first option should be. Achraf Hakimi has attracted much attention from Pep Guardiola. The Moroccan full-back is still unclear about his future, and his price would be in the region of €50 million - a fee Mancity consider as reasonable.

Mancity have already asked Real Madrid about the availability of Achraf Hakimi (21). City see the player's €60 million price tag as feasible and should their CAS appeal go in their favour they will make a move for the defender. Mancity have insisted the most for Achraf’s signing in recent weeks.
